Cadet Drill Success

9 Cadets from East Kilbride joined cadets from Northern Area for the Drill Selection weekend this weekend.
The weekends aim was to select a guard for the launch of the Royal Navy's latest type 45 destroyer HMS Defender which will be launched in late October 2009.
Cadets also had the opportunity to go for the Guard for this year's Trafalger Day Parade celebrations held annually in Trafalgar Square, London in October.

Leading Cadet Kristoffer McQuarrie & Able Cadet David Belshaw were selected for the Ship Launch, whilst Leading Cadet Carly Frame was selected to attend both prestigious events.
